The Lower White - Bayou Des Arc Watershed is located in Faulkner, Lonoke, Monroe, Prairie, Pulaski, White and Woodruff counties in Central Arkansas.  The watershed includes approximately 718,400 acres under the following major land/cover uses from the 1997 National Resource Inventory:
