Lower St. Francis Watershed

Lower St. Francis Watershed Map

The Lower St. Francis Watershed is located in Clay, Craighead, Crittenden, Cross, Green, Lee, Mississippi, Phillips, Poinsett and St. Francis counties in Northeast Arkansas extending into Southeast Missouri.  The Arkansas portion of the watershed includes approximately 1,890,900 acres under the following major land/cover uses from the 1997 National Resource Inventory:
