Trice Named Rural Advocate of the Year by Arkansas Rural Development
Commission
LITTLE ROCK, Ark., June 5, 2006 -- Kalven L. Trice, Arkansas Natural
Resources Conservation Service state conservationist, was named the 2005-2006
Rural Advocate of the Year by the Arkansas Rural Development Commission May 26.
The Rural Advocate of the Year award is one of the most prestigious awards in
the state and recognizes Arkansans who provide outstanding leadership and
dedicated service to rural areas. The Rural Development Commission selects an
honoree each year, and past recipients of the award include U.S. senators David
Pryor and Dale Bumpers.
