USDA to Hold Public Meetings on Programs and Services

The USDA field service centers in Cleburne, Faulkner, Van Buren, Conway and Perry counties are holding two meetings to inform landowners of USDA programs and services available to them.

Personnel from the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, conservation districts and USDA Farm Service Agency will present information on the Environment Quality Incentives Program, Wildlife Habitat Enhancement Program, Conservation Security Program, Conservation Reserve Program, Grassland Reserve Program, district sales, rentals and services, assistance to poultry operators, farm loans, disaster programs and more.

The first meeting will be held Aug. 31 at 6 p.m. at the Quitman school cafeteria located on Hwy. 25 in Quitman.  The second meeting will be held Sept. 7 at 6 p.m. at the USDA Natural Resources Center Conference Room on Amity Road in Conway (next to Antioch Baptist Church, just off the freeway on the access road).  Light refreshments will be served.
